DescriptionOutside view taken looking over a metal hand rail onto the construction of university buildings close by. In the foreground are piles of wooden planks and stacks of hundreds of bricks. The bricks have large sheets of material draped over them. Behind these piles of construction materials on the left are small sections laid out in a rectangular formation which have brick borders and some of them have concrete floors laid within these. On the right is an open muddy space with some piles of earth/ other materials in, a man working near a cement mixer and a small minibus/ van that has 'LONGLEY' printed across it. There are a couple of power cable posts either side of the van, one of which is wonky. On the right another two men are working near a small wall and a white cylindrical container on four posts. Behind this are three rows of white wooden temporary huts/ cabins. Behind these and to the left of them, more university buildings are quite far into their stages of construction, with Senate House rising above all of the others. Senate House also has scaffolding around the protruding sections of the building. In the distance a view of the surrounding area can be seen with many trees, including a couple of rows of the distinctive tall thin Italian conifer/ evergreens. It looks misty/ foggy in the picutre.
