DescriptionPhoto taken outside looking on to an open, muddy construction area with much stone rubble covering the foreground. On the right hand side is a trench/ ditch with a concrete strip which runs along side it up to a wooden post marking the end. There are two spades and a couple of jackets propped against/ draped over the wooden post and a workman is down in the ditch looking over a thick concrete barrier, into the ditch on the right. At the end of the wooden post, on the left, there are piles of wooden boards and other materials. On the right of the wooden post resting above the ditch is a horseshoe shaped tent with canvas draped over the metal framework. On the left of the ditch there is another, far larger rectangular ditch/ clearing in which some building foundations are being worked on. Tall, thin metal rods protrude from the space, rising upwards in tightly packed rows/ walls. A site worker is standing inside one of the metal rod areas, leaning on it with an outstretched arm, and facing away from the camera. Above him, slightly further back, are two other workers who are standing on a levelled flat surface/ floor. On the left of this space with the building foundations, and on higher ground, is more muddy uneven ground with various piles of construction materials dotted around and scattered site workers. Visible on the horizon are small white temporary huts/ cabins (far left), a digger and a truck, another lone hut attached to a central wheel (centre or the horizon), two tall bare branched trees, some slightly shorter trees/ bushes, a crane (right hand side) and a small 'Longley' van.
