DescriptionPhoto taken from near the lake area (lake not visible) looking towards the academic buildings and Senate House in the centre of the photo. Senate House is on the left of the group of buildings (many of which have some scaffolding up against them). Guildford Cathedral rises above the university site buildings and has a tower crane in front of it with its arm/ jib pointing to the right. A road sweeps round from the left of the photo, curving round a patch of bushes/ small trees and towards Senate House. Where the road meets a curved black wall on the near side of Senate House, it splits two ways - one towards Senate House and the other off past the academic buildings. Piled up on the side of the road by the academic buildings are mounds of bricks and debris, and further along there are some white wooden temporary huts. In the foreground is a wide open muddy space with a field on the right contained within a small post and wire fence. On the far right before the field is a stack of short piping. There are large cumulous clouds in the sky.
