DescriptionPhoto taken from university building with scaffolding up, looking across at the progress of another building still under construction - the third level is being worked on and internal wall divisions have been built with some planks of wood laid down to walk across the top of parts. Two men are working on the left hand side of this building. In the foreground on the left, a scaffolding rail can be seen (with white spatters over it) and on the right the mast of a tower crane stands. Below, between the rail and crane, the corner of a courtyard is visible. Behind the central building, over the other side of a road, are more university buildings which are largely complete (with some scaffolding around the far left one). Some of the windows within the central building in the background, are open. A digger is also visible behind a brick wall on the far side of the road. On the left of the buildings is a dusty open space where two cars are parked and some scattered debris/ materials sits in piles. Behind the buildings is a large grassy field with a hedgerow cutting through it. In the background, residential areas of Guildford town can be seen interspersed with trees, including a collection of houses on a hillside.
